Travel on a Christian Tour of Egypt, Jordan & Israel

Trace the great story of Scripture across three nations in one journey. In Egypt, stand before the Pyramids of Giza, explore the Egyptian Museum, and visit Coptic Cairo, where tradition says the Holy Family found refuge. Follow the route of the Exodus across the Sinai past Marah, Elim, and Rephidim to Mount Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery.

In Jordan, discover the rose-red city of Petra, see the Madaba mosaic map, and look out over the Promised Land from Mount Nebo as Moses did. Then cross the Jordan into Israel and walk in the footsteps of Jesus — from Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem.

Tour departs Monday from the U.S. and arrives Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt. You fly home from Tel Aviv.

Wednesday — Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Coptic Cairo

Giza Pyramids • Sphinx • Egyptian Museum • Coptic Cairo • Ben Ezra • Khan el-Khalili

After breakfast, meet your Egyptologist guide and set out for the Pyramids of Giza, the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), built around 2560 B.C., is the largest of the three, followed by the Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren), guarded by the Great Sphinx, carved from a single mass of limestone. Take the chance for a camel ride with the pyramids as your backdrop.

Continue to the Egyptian Museum for a colorful introduction to 5,000 years of Egyptian history, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

In Coptic Cairo, visit the Hanging Church (Al-Mu’allaqa), built atop a gate of the Roman Babylon Fortress, and the Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga), built over the cave where tradition says the Holy Family sheltered during their flight into Egypt (Matthew 2:13-15). Nearby is the restored Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in Egypt. End in the medieval bazaar of Khan el-Khalili, alive with spices, silks, and crafts.

Day4

Thursday — The Route of the Exodus

Suez Canal • Land of Goshen • Marah • Elim • Rephidim • Mount Sinai

After breakfast, travel by private air-conditioned coach through the tunnel beneath the Suez Canal into the Sinai Peninsula, following what is traditionally thought to be the route of the Exodus (Exodus 13–19). The drive to the Mount Sinai area is about 230 miles (roughly six hours) with stops along the way:

  • Marah — the desert springs by the Red Sea where the Israelites found the water bitter and the Lord made it sweet (Exodus 15:22-25).
  • Elim — the oasis of twelve springs and seventy palm trees (Exodus 15:27).
  • Wadi Feiran (Rephidim) — where Israel fought the Amalekites as Moses held up his hands (Exodus 17:8-13), beneath Mount Serbal.
  • Wadi el-Raha — the plain at the foot of Mount Sinai where tradition places the Israelite camp and the golden calf (Exodus 32).

Arrive at your hotel near Mount Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery.

About the Sinai hotel: Lodging options in this remote area are very limited. Our hotel is the best available, but it is simpler than the other hotels on this tour.
Optional night climb of Mount Sinai: The climb begins around 2:00 AM to reach the summit for sunrise, returning about 9:00–9:30 AM. Bring warm clothing. A camel ride for about two-thirds of the way up can be arranged locally for about $25 per person.

Overnight Sinai — Breakfast and Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel
  • Licensed guide, entrance fees, and sightseeing per itinerary
  • Hotel near Mount Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery
Day5

Friday — Mount Sinai to Petra

Mt. Sinai • St. Catherine’s Monastery • Taba • Eilat • Aqaba • Petra

Those who make the optional pre-dawn climb of Mount Sinai (Jebel Musa), about 7,500 feet high, reach the summit — the last 750 rock-cut steps — for sunrise, praise, and sweeping views over the wilderness where God gave Moses the Ten Commandments (Exodus 19–20). Climbers rejoin the group for breakfast.

Visit St. Catherine’s Monastery at the foot of the mountain, built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century and one of the oldest continuously inhabited Christian monasteries in the world. It stands beside the traditional site of the Burning Bush (Exodus 3:1-6).

Drive along the eastern shore of the Sinai and the Gulf of Aqaba to the Taba border, with lunch in the Taba area before crossing into Israel. Meet our Israeli representative for a short tour of Eilat, then continue to the Arava (Wadi Araba) border and cross into Jordan. Your Jordanian guide welcomes you in Aqaba before the drive north to Wadi Musa and Petra.

Border fees not included: Israel exit tax (currently about US $35 per person) plus a mandatory border shuttle of about US $2. Subject to change without notice.

Overnight Petra — Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel
  • Lunch in the Taba area
  • Licensed guides, entrance fees, and sightseeing per itinerary
  • Border assistance in Egypt, Israel, and Jordan
  • Your choice of 5-Star Deluxe or 4-Star First Class accommodations
Jordan · Days 6–7
Day6

Saturday — Petra, the Rose-Red City

The Siq • Treasury • Royal Tombs • Monastery • Amman

Spend the day exploring Petra, one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites. Carved from solid rock by the Nabataeans, it flourished as their capital for centuries and lay largely forgotten in the West until 1812.

From the visitor center, an optional horse ride covers the first 800 meters to the entrance of the Siq, the dramatic narrow canyon. A 1.2 km walk through the Siq brings you face to face with the Treasury. Explore the Royal Tombs, the theater carved into the mountainside, the Colonnaded Street, the Byzantine Church, the Great Temple, the Lion Triclinium, the High Place of Sacrifice, and — for the energetic — the great Monastery (Ad Deir).

In the late afternoon, drive north to Amman, Jordan’s capital.

Overnight Amman — Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel
  • Lunch in Petra
  • Licensed Jordanian guide, Petra entrance, and sightseeing per itinerary
  • Your choice of 5-Star Deluxe or 4-Star First Class accommodations
Day7

Sunday — Into the Promised Land

Madaba • Mount Nebo • Bethany Beyond the Jordan • Allenby Bridge • Tel Aviv

Drive to Madaba, famous for its Byzantine mosaics. In the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, see the 6th-century Madaba Map, the oldest surviving map of the Holy Land.

Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death (Deuteronomy 34:1-6), with breathtaking views across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Pass near Bethany Beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing (John 1:28), and cross into Israel at the Allenby Bridge — reflecting on Joshua leading the children of Israel into the Promised Land (Joshua 3).

Drive past Jericho and on to the Mediterranean coast and Tel Aviv, Israel’s largest modern city. Check in near the beach and enjoy a free evening.

Border fees not included: Jordan departure tax (currently about US $16 per person). Subject to change without notice.

Overnight Tel Aviv — Breakfast and Dinner included.

  • Buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel

Day8

Monday — Jaffa, the Coast & the Valley of Armageddon

Jaffa • Caesarea • Mt. Carmel • Megiddo • Nazareth • Cana • Tiberias

Begin in Old Jaffa (Joppa), one of the oldest port cities in the world, where cedars of Lebanon arrived to build Solomon’s Temple (2 Chronicles 2:16). Here Peter raised Tabitha from the dead (Acts 9:36-43) and, at the house of Simon the Tanner, received his vision of the Great Sheet (Acts 10:9-16) — a site marked today by St. Peter’s Church.

Drive north along the coast to Caesarea Maritima (Acts 10:24-48), Roman capital of Judea, where Paul made his defense before Festus and King Agrippa (Acts 25–26). See the Roman theater and seaside aqueduct.

Stop at Mount Carmel (Muchraka), where Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:16-39), then continue to Megiddo — Armageddon (Revelation 16:14-16) — with remains from Solomon’s era (1 Kings 9:15) and its ancient water system.

Cross the Jezreel Valley to Nazareth (Luke 4:16). Take in the view from Mount Precipice, traditional site of Jesus’ rejection (Luke 4:29-30), and, time permitting, visit the Basilica of the Annunciation (Luke 1:26-38). Continue to Cana of Galilee, site of the first miracle (John 2:1-11), and on to Tiberias on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Overnight Sea of Galilee — Breakfast and Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel

  • Your choice of 5-Star Deluxe or 4-Star First Class accommodations
Day9

Tuesday — Sea of Galilee, Golan Heights & the Jordan River

Magdala • Galilee Boat Ride • Jesus Boat • Banias • Hula Valley • Yardenit

Begin at Magdala (Matthew 15:39), home of Mary Magdalene, where archaeologists uncovered a first-century town and a synagogue from the time of Jesus’ ministry.

Board a wooden boat and sail the Sea of Galilee as the disciples did, on the waters where Jesus calmed the storm (Luke 8:22-25) and walked on water (Mark 6:47-52). Dock at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar to see the Ancient Jesus Boat, discovered in 1986, and enjoy a special St. Peter’s Fish lunch.

Drive up to the Golan Heights and Banias — ancient Caesarea Philippi (Matthew 16:13-18) — where Peter confessed Jesus as the Christ. Continue through the Hula Valley and Upper Galilee to Yardenit on the Jordan River, where many choose to be baptized (Matthew 3:13-17).

Overnight Sea of Galilee — Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Wednesday — Jesus’ Galilean Ministry & the Dead Sea

  • Mount of Beatitudes — site of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7), with Antonio Barluzzi’s octagonal church overlooking the lake.
  • Tabgha — the Feeding of the 5,000 (Matthew 14:13-21) and the Primacy of Peter (John 21:15-17). See the Church of the Multiplication and its loaves-and-fishes mosaic.
  • Capernaum — Jesus’ “own town” (Matthew 4:13; 9:1). Stand in the ancient synagogue and at Peter’s house, where Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law (Luke 4:38-40).

Continue to Beit She’an, a city of the Decapolis (Mark 5:20), where the Philistines hung the bodies of Saul and his sons on the city walls (1 Samuel 31:10-12). Drive down the Jordan Valley past Jericho to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, to float in its mineral waters or relax at the spa.

Pass the Pater Noster Church and visit Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41-44), then walk the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:39-46).

Visit the Western Wall and the Western Wall Tunnels, revealing the Second Temple–era foundations of the Temple Mount. Continue to St. Anne’s Church and the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the paralytic (John 5:1-15).

Walk the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, from the traditional Judgment Hall of Pilate to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Matthew 27:27–28:10). Enjoy afternoon time in the Old City bazaars, then join evening prayers at the Western Wall before a special Shabbat dinner.

Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need visas for Egypt, Jordan, and Israel?

U.S. and Canadian travelers need an Egypt visa, which we can arrange for you in advance so you skip the lines on arrival. Entry requirements for Jordan and Israel (including Israel’s ETA-IL electronic travel authorization) depend on your passport — our team will confirm what you need when you book. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date.

How do the border crossings work?

You cross by land three times: from Egypt into Israel at Taba, from Israel into Jordan at the Arava (Wadi Araba) crossing, and from Jordan back into Israel at the Allenby Bridge. Our representatives meet you on each side and assist you through. Border taxes are paid locally and are not included in the tour price.

Do I have to climb Mount Sinai?

No — the pre-dawn climb is entirely optional. It takes several hours on rocky paths and the final 750 steps, so it’s best for travelers in good physical condition. A camel can carry you about two-thirds of the way. Those who stay behind rejoin the group for breakfast and the visit to St. Catherine’s Monastery.

How much walking is involved?

Expect plenty of walking, often on uneven ground. Petra is the most demanding day, with several miles on foot, and Jerusalem’s Old City has many steps and cobblestones. If you have difficulty walking longer distances, please contact us before booking.

What should I wear and pack?

Many holy sites require modest dress covering shoulders and knees. Bring broken-in walking shoes, sun protection, warm layers for the Sinai (nights are cold, especially for the climb), and a swimsuit for the Dead Sea.

Can our church group book this tour together?

Absolutely. This itinerary can be tailor-made for church groups, with group pricing and custom departure dates. We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance. Request group pricing.

How do I book?

Use the request form below or call 1-800-933-4421 (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM PST). A Travel Expert will confirm availability, deposit, and payment details. There are no added fees for credit card payment.

Your guides are licensed by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism and bring a deep understanding of the Bible and Christian history to every site — and unlike many tours that offer only half-day touring, ours are full-day small-group experiences.

Tour departs Saturday from the U.S. and arrives Sunday in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The most comprehensive Christian itinerary in the Holy Land, centered on the life and teachings of Jesus.

Day1

Saturday — Depart for Israel

Your pilgrimage to the Land of the Bible begins

Depart the U.S. on your overnight flight to Israel, the Land of the Bible.

Flights for your tour: Book our land package and we’ll be happy to help you with flights. Prefer to book your own? No problem — we’ll coordinate your arrival and departure airport transfers, included at no extra cost.
Optional pre-tour night in Tel Aviv: To ease jet lag, consider arriving one day early (on Saturday instead of Sunday) so you start the tour rested. Enjoy the Mediterranean promenade or explore Tel Aviv at your own pace. The option includes airport transfer and one night with breakfast and dinner at the Renaissance Tel Aviv or the Grand Beach Tel Aviv Hotel. Let us know when booking and a Travel Expert will quote and confirm it for you.
Day2

Sunday — Welcome to Israel

Ben Gurion Airport • Tel Aviv

Welcome to Israel! On arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport you’ll be met by our airport representative and transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel’s vibrant modern city, just steps from the ancient port of Jaffa.

Your hotel sits near the Mediterranean shore and close to the city center, with its lively beachfront promenade of shops, restaurants, and cafés. If time allows, stroll through Neve Tzedek, one of Tel Aviv’s oldest and most charming neighborhoods.

Overnight Tel Aviv — Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Meet & assist and transfer from Ben Gurion Airport to your hotel
  • Dinner at your hotel
  • Your choice of 5-Star Deluxe or 4-Star First Class accommodations
Day3

Monday — Jaffa, the Coast & the Valley of Armageddon

Jaffa • Caesarea • Mt. Carmel • Megiddo • Nazareth • Cana • Tiberias

Begin in Old Jaffa (Joppa), one of the oldest port cities in the world, where cedars of Lebanon arrived to build Solomon’s Temple (2 Chronicles 2:16). Here Peter raised Tabitha from the dead (Acts 9:36-43) and, while staying at the house of Simon the Tanner, received his vision of the Great Sheet (Acts 10:9-16) — a site marked today by St. Peter’s Church. Enjoy sweeping views of the Tel Aviv shoreline from the Jaffa hilltop.

Drive north along the coastal plain to Caesarea Maritima (Acts 10:24-48), Roman capital of Judea and a center of early Christianity. Explore the Roman theater and aqueduct where Paul made his defense before Festus and King Agrippa before sailing to Rome (Acts 25-26).

Stop at Mount Carmel (Muchraka), where Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:16-39), with panoramic views over Haifa Bay and the Jezreel Valley. Continue to Megiddo — Armageddon (Revelation 16:14-16) — and explore remains from Solomon’s era (1 Kings 9:15), including its remarkable ancient water system.

Cross the Jezreel Valley to Nazareth (Luke 1:26; Luke 4:16), the hometown of Jesus. Take in the view from Mount Precipice, traditional site of His rejection by the people of Nazareth (Luke 4:29-30), and, time permitting, visit the Basilica of the Annunciation (Luke 1:26-38). Continue to Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine (John 2:1-11).

Arrive at the Sea of Galilee and check in to your hotel in Tiberias, right on the lakeshore — perfect for an evening walk along the water.

Overnight Sea of Galilee — Breakfast and Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Full Israeli buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel
  • Licensed tour guide, entrance fees, and sightseeing per itinerary
  • Your choice of 5-Star Deluxe or 4-Star First Class accommodations
Day4

Tuesday — Sea of Galilee, Golan Heights & the Jordan River

Magdala • Galilee Boat Ride • Jesus Boat • Banias • Hula Valley • Yardenit

Begin at Magdala (Matthew 15:39), home of Mary Magdalene. Explore a first-century Jewish town and the oldest excavated synagogue in the Galilee from the time of Jesus’ ministry — a place where He very likely taught.

Board a wooden boat and sail the Sea of Galilee as the disciples did 2,000 years ago, on the waters where Jesus calmed the storm (Luke 8:22-25), walked on water (Mark 6:47-52), and, after His resurrection, told the disciples to cast their net on the right side of the boat before making them breakfast on the shore (John 21).

Dock at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar to see the Ancient Jesus Boat, a 2,000-year-old fishing boat discovered in 1986 and dating to the time of Jesus and His disciples. Enjoy a special St. Peter’s Fish lunch by the lake.

Drive up to the Golan Heights and visit Banias — ancient Caesarea Philippi (Matthew 16:13; Mark 8:27) — where Peter confessed Jesus as the Christ and Jesus declared, “On this rock I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18).

Continue through the Hula Valley and Upper Galilee, returning to the lake to visit Yardenit on the Jordan River. Many travelers choose to be immersed in the waters where John the Baptist baptized Jesus and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove (Matthew 3:13-17).

Overnight Sea of Galilee — Breakfast and Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Full Israeli buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel
  • Licensed tour guide, entrance fees, and sightseeing per itinerary
  • Sea of Galilee boat ride
  • Special St. Peter’s Fish lunch in the Galilee
  • Your choice of 5-Star Deluxe or 4-Star First Class accommodations
Day5

Wednesday — Jesus’ Galilean Ministry & the Dead Sea

Mt. of Beatitudes • Tabgha • Capernaum • Beit She’an • Dead Sea

Today we visit the heart of Jesus’ early ministry around the Sea of Galilee:

  • Mount of Beatitudes — site of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). See the octagonal Church of the Beatitudes by architect Antonio Barluzzi and its sweeping views over the lake.
  • Tabgha — site of the Feeding of the 5,000 (Matthew 14:13-21) and the Primacy of Peter (John 21:15-17). See the Church of the Multiplication and its famous 5th-century loaves-and-fishes mosaic.
  • Capernaum — Jesus’ home base during His ministry (Matthew 4:13; Mark 1:21-28). Walk among the ruins of the ancient synagogue and see the site of Peter’s house, where Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law (Luke 4:38-40).

Journey south to Beit She’an, one of the finest archaeological sites in Israel and a city of the Decapolis (Mark 5:20), where the Philistines hung the bodies of Saul and his sons on the city walls (1 Samuel 31:10-12). Continue down the Jordan Valley past Jericho to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth.

At the Enjoy Dead Sea Hotel you’ll receive complimentary Dead Sea mud and salt spa products. Float in the mineral-rich water, relax at the pool, or book an optional spa treatment.

Overnight Dead Sea — Breakfast and Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Full Israeli buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel
  • Licensed tour guide, entrance fees, and sightseeing per itinerary
  • Dead Sea spa gift — mineral mud and salt pack, courtesy of Enjoy Dead Sea Hotel
  • Deluxe Room (5-Star) or Standard Room (4-Star) at Enjoy Dead Sea Hotel
Day6

Thursday — Judean Desert to Jerusalem

Masada • Ein Gedi • Qumran • Mount Scopus • Jerusalem
  • Masada — ascend by cable car to King Herod’s mountaintop fortress, rising some 1,300 feet above the Dead Sea. Explore the first-century synagogue, Herod’s palaces and bathhouse, and the last stronghold of the Jewish revolt against Rome.
  • Ein Gedi — the desert oasis where David hid from Saul (1 Samuel 23:29–24:22) and where several Psalms are set.
  • Qumran — where the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Scriptures, were discovered in 1947.

Ascend through the Judean Desert to the Golden City of Jerusalem, pausing at Mount Scopus for a breathtaking panorama of the Holy City — a moving moment for prayer and reflection. Check in to your hotel, within walking distance of the Old City.

Overnight Jerusalem — Breakfast and Dinner included.

Included Today

  • Full Israeli buffet breakfast and dinner at your hotel
  • Licensed tour guide, entrance fees (including Masada cable car), and sightseeing per itinerary

Day7

Friday — Old Jerusalem & the Way of the Cross

Mount of Olives • Gethsemane • Western Wall Tunnels • Bethesda • Via Dolorosa • Holy Sepulchre

Begin atop the Mount of Olives, where the Lord ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9-12), looking across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate (Ezekiel 43:1-4). Pass the Pater Noster Church, where tradition places Jesus’ teaching of the Lord’s Prayer, and visit Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41-44).

Walk the Palm Sunday Road down to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed and was strengthened by an angel before His arrest (Mark 14:32; Luke 22:39-46), among olive trees of remarkable age.

Visit the Western Wall, the holiest site in Judaism, and descend into the Western Wall Tunnels to see the massive foundations of the Temple Mount from the time of Jesus. Continue to St. Anne’s Church and the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the paralytic (John 5:1-15).

Walk the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, from Station 2 at the Church of the Flagellation to Station 14 inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Matthew 27–28).

Spend the afternoon exploring the colorful bazaars of the Old City, then join evening prayers at the Western Wall before returning to your hotel for a special Shabbat dinner.

Overnight Jerusalem — Breakfast and Shabbat Dinner included.

  • Full Israeli buffet breakfast and Shabbat dinner at your hotel

Saturday — Mount Zion, Bethlehem & the Garden Tomb

Upper Room • Jewish Quarter • Ein Karem • Bethlehem • Shepherds’ Field • Garden Tomb

Begin on Mount Zion at the Upper Room, traditional site of the Last Supper (Luke 22:7-20), then visit King David’s Tomb and walk through the Jewish Quarter.

Drive through the New City past the Knesset (Israel’s Parliament) to Ein Karem, birthplace of John the Baptist (Luke 1:57-80), who prepared the way of the Lord (Isaiah 40:3). Visit the Church of the Visitation, commemorating Mary’s visit to Elizabeth (Luke 1:39-56).

Continue to Bethlehem, where Joseph traveled with Mary and where Jesus was born (Luke 2:1-7). Visit the Church of the Nativity, one of the oldest churches in the world, and the Shepherds’ Field, where angels announced His birth (Luke 2:8-20).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the tour price?

The land package includes airport transfers, 7 nights’ hotel accommodation, daily buffet breakfast and dinner, a St. Peter’s Fish lunch, all entrance fees per the itinerary, a Ministry of Tourism–certified guide, a private air-conditioned motor coach, and porterage. International flights, lunches, and tips are not included.

Do I need a visa to visit Israel?

U.S. and Canadian citizens currently need an approved ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) applied for online before travel, but not a visa, for tourist visits. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure from Israel. Citizens of other countries should check requirements with the Israeli embassy or consulate.

How much walking is involved? Is this tour suitable for seniors?

Most days include 2 or more miles of walking, often on uneven ground, steps, and cobblestones — especially in Jerusalem’s Old City. Many of our travelers are seniors and do wonderfully. If you have difficulty walking longer distances, please contact us before booking; a private tour at a gentler pace is also available.

Can I be baptized in the Jordan River on this tour?

Yes. On Day 4 we visit Yardenit on the Jordan River, which offers changing rooms and white baptismal robes for rent or purchase. Baptism is entirely optional — let us know when booking if it is important to your group.

What should I wear?

Many holy sites require modest dress covering shoulders and knees for both men and women. Bring comfortable, broken-in walking shoes, sun protection, a light layer for cool evenings, and a swimsuit for the Dead Sea.

Can our church group book this tour together?

Absolutely. We organize Holy Land pilgrimages for congregations of every size, with group pricing, custom departure dates, and private-tour options. We recommend booking group departures 6–12 months in advance. Request group pricing.
