ISRAEL AND HOLY LAND TOUR PACKAGES

My husband, myself and my 25 year old son all went on the Footsteps of Christ tour May 2018. The tour exceeded our expectations! We wanted to hit all the the popular holy sites, get baptized in the Jordan, boat across the Galilee Sea, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, float in the Dead Sea. It was exactly as described, plus more. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the bible, the history of Israel from before Jesus till today, and was very well informed about the archaeological sites and current excavations. All hotels were clean (we stayed in a 4 star with 3 of us in a room, and it was plenty big. Our wake up was usually 6:00 am or 6:30 am and we'd end between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm then have dinner. Our bus was clean and air conditioned. I suggest going a day or two earlier to enjoy tel aviv and to get over the jet lag. The Mediterranean Sea was beautiful, and warm. You can also rent bikes and ride on the path along the beach. You can rent beach chairs very inexpensively. We used American dollars and Credit cards. You do not need to bring a blow dryer. You do need an adapter to charge your phone, we bought one on the street for about $6 a lot of people worry about safety. We always felt safe.

Our tour could not have been much better! Yehuda, our tour guide, was professional and attentive. His incredible knowledge of not just Israel’s history, but of the religious and current history of the area were exceptional. As a strong Christian with a desire to know Jesus better, walking in the areas and through the culture of the time He lived in brought me a new perspective on the man—as well as my Savior. My youngest daughter, 21, has extensive Biblical knowledge, and Yehuda’s attention to helping her understand even better what she knows and to give it depth and color was one of the highlights of her trip. My middle daughter, 26, has little Biblical knowledge but deep historical knowledge. Yehuda’s ability to help her understand the importance of Christ’s impact on the culture of the time and to understand the place of the Jews in the society kept her attentive, and seeking to know Jesus more. What a true gift! And, as 3 women who live in the United States and have very little real understanding of the Middle East, Yehuda’s ability to put modern Israeli and Palestinian history into part of our trip was wonderful. This trip not only changed our ability to see Jesus, but it gave us better perspective on current times and who we are in the world system. I couldn’t have been more impressed by the tour.

We went on the 10 days Holy Land "In The Footsteps of Christ" tour. My wife & I was gifted this trip by someone from our church. They had used this company and highly recommended them (they have high standards). I too would highly recommend them. I thought their communication leading up to the trip and accommodations on the trip were more than sufficient. The office promptly answered all my e-mail questions; I thought their response time was excellent. I'm a pastor of 20 years with a master's degree, and our guide, Shifra, was awesome! She had extensive knowledge of Israel's history, both ancient and modern; and knew all the Scriptures related to the site we were visiting. She worked very hard to make sure we got as much Biblical and secular information related to the site as possible in the time we had. She did a great job of communicating what our next day was going to be and how we should be prepared for it (holy site attire, walking, water, etc.). I think they did a great job and I highly recommend them. I could go on, but for the sake of anyone still reading, I'll refrain.
