14 DAY JEWISH HERITAGE TOUR OF ISRAEL WITH EILAT

Everything about this tour is “grand.” Experience our 14-day grand Jewish heritage tour of Israel including two nights on the Red Sea beach destination of Eilat; after a leisure day in the modern city of Tel Aviv travel north to Caesarea, continue to Haifa for a panoramic view of Mount Carmel, next AF AL PI CHEN naval museum, after drive to UNESCO World Heritage site Acre, continue to Rosh Hanikra and the limestone grottoes, next to Safed, Joseph Caro & Ha’Ari synagogues, the Artist Quarter, and then a desert Jeep Tour in the Golan, stop at an observation point in Golan Heights, after Tel Facher, and visit the Banias springs, and Tal-Hai. We drive to Tiberias and tour the Tomb of Maimonides, on to Beit She’an the largest archeological park, next to Beit Alpha, Gan Hashlosha, Mount Scopus, and on to the Golden City of Jerusalem. Explore Old Jerusalem; the Tomb of King David, Mount Zion, Cardo, Sephardic synagogues, the Jewish Quarter, Western Wall Tunnels, and Western Wall, Temple Mount, and Davidson center, walk through Jaffa gate and enter David’s Tower Museum. The next day is New Jerusalem; Mea Shearim, the Knesset, the Menorah, then enter Israel Museum and see the Shrine of the Book, and the Dead Sea Scrolls, on to Mount Hertzel, witness Yad Vashem the Holocaust museum, and last tour Ammunition Hill. On this day of touring experience the Dead Sea, Qumran, and the Masada fortress. Come back to Jerusalem for a day of Leisure to give time to explore Jerusalem on your own or visit friends and relatives. Travel south to the Negev desert and visit Hatzerim, next learn about the Bedouin, continue to Sde Boker Kibbutz, see Ben Gurion’s hut and grave, Zin valley, and stop at Ramon crater, after arriving at Eilat. Enjoy a day of leisure and relaxing time on the shores of the Red Sea in Eilat, take an opportunity to visit UNESCO World Heritage site Petra as an optional tour. On your last day of touring experience the Negev desert, Timna valley, and see the copper mines, King Solomon’s pillars, and after see Eilat’s underwater observatory.

Day 1 - Thursday
Departure on your way to The Promised Land, Israel.
Flights for your tour: Reserve our land tour with us, and we can also assist with your flights. Or you can also book your flights on your own if you prefer, and we will coordinate your arrival and departure airport transfers included in your tour, at no additional cost.
Day 2 - Friday
Tel Aviv
Shalom and welcome to the Jewish State of Israel, upon arrival into Ben Gurion International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our airport representative. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv – Israel largest and modern city with short distance to the Old City of Jaffa. Check in at your hotel for overnight rest from your transatlantic flight. Tel Aviv is a beautiful city on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, and offers a lively city center with shopping, family attractions, and the popular promendade by the beach with wonderful restaurants, stores, and coffee shops. Time permitting visit relatives and friends, go dining, shopping, or visit the artistic neighborhood of Neve Tzedek.

Day 4 - Sunday │Caesarea / Haifa / Acre / Beit Shearim

Head north to Caesarea, once the grand Roman capital of the region. Walk among its remarkably preserved ruins, admire the impressive Roman aqueduct, and take in the atmosphere of the restored Roman theater, where ancient splendor meets modern energy against the Mediterranean backdrop. Day 7 - Wednesday │Kotel Tunnels / Sephardic Synagogues / Davidson Center / Tower of David

Breakfast at your hotel, please check out from your room at 12 noon and leave your luggage with the Hotel Concierge. Pick up time from the hotel lobby to Ben Gurion airport will be 4 hours before your departure flight.

Transfer from your Tel-Aviv hotel to the Ben Gurion International Airport for your departure flight back home or to your next destination.

Transfers. The drive from Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion International Airport is about 40 to 50 minutes, and the drive from Sdeh Dov Domestic Airport in Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion International Airport is about 50 to 60 minutes. International flights require that you check-in at least 3 hours prior to your flight departure time. PLEASE NOTE: NO EXTRA TRANSFER CHARGES ON ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE ANY TIME AND ANY DAY.

If your flight departs in the morning you will arrive back in America the same day of your departure.
If your flight departs in the night you will arrive back to America the following day of your departure.
Optional: Optional Bar/Bat Mitzvah Services: Rabbi’s fee for one Bar/Bat Mitzvah participant is on request contact us for more details. The fee will include: Correspondence with family by the Rabbi, meeting in Jerusalem by the Rabbi prior to the ceremony, officiating at service, use of prayer pamphlets and Rabbi’s personal Torah scroll, Rabbi’s transportation, and including Bar/Bat Mitzvah certificate from the Ministry of Tourism. Enjoy vacation leisure time in Tel Aviv, and prepare for your tour to Caesarea, on to Haifa and breathtaking vies of Mount Carmel, visit “AF AL PI CHEN” naval museum, after we’ll drive to UNESCO World Heritage site Acre, then Rosh Hanikra and the limestone grottoes, following continue to Safed, Joseph Caro & Ha’Ari synagogues, the Artist Quarter, and explore the desert a Jeep Tour in the Golan, arrive at observation point in Golan Heights, after Tel Facher, and visit the Banias springs, and Tal-Hai. Day 3 – Thursday │Armored Corps Museum / Ayalon Valley / Diaspora Museum

Optional Bar/Bat Mitzvah Services: The Rabbi’s fee for one Bar/Bat Mitzvah participant is available upon request. Please contact us for additional details. The fee covers the following: communication with the family, a pre-ceremony meeting with the Rabbi in Jerusalem, officiating the service, provision of prayer booklets, use of the Rabbi's personal Torah scroll, transportation for the Rabbi, and a Bar/Bat Mitzvah certificate issued by the Ministry of Tourism. Reform and Conservative ceremonies are typically held at the Southern Wall area. Transfer from the Western Wall Plaza to the Israel Museum is approximately $15-$20 per taxi (4 passengers per taxi).

Explore Tiberias and visit Tomb of Maimonides, on to Beit She’an the largest archeological parck, next Beit Alpha, Gan Hashlosha, Mount Scopus, and on to the Golden City of Jerusalem. Day 1 - Thursday

Embark on your journey to the Holy Land, Israel.

Day 2 - Friday │ Tel Aviv

Welcome to the vibrant country of Israel! Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport, our representative will meet you and assist you with your transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv – Israel’s largest, most dynamic city, just a short distance from the historic Old City of Jaffa. Check in to your hotel and relax after your long flight. Tel Aviv, located along the Mediterranean coast, is known for its lively atmosphere, bustling city center, and beautiful beach promenade, where you'll find great dining, shops, and coffee spots. If time permits, take the opportunity to visit friends or relatives, enjoy a meal, shop, or explore the artsy district of Neve Tzedek. Overnight in Tel Aviv, including a full buffet breakfast.

Day 3 – Saturday │ Free Day

Day 4 - Sunday │ Caesarea / Haifa / Acre / Beit Shearim

Your adventure continues with a trip north to Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital. Explore the well-preserved ruins, including the impressive Roman aqueduct, and take in a performance at the restored Roman theater, all while enjoying views of the Mediterranean coast. Next, visit Haifa, famous for its breathtaking views of the Bahá'í Shrine and its beautiful terraced gardens overlooking the bay. Then continue to Acre, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a deep Jewish history, where you can explore its ancient port, lively market, and the hidden Crusader City, revealing centuries of diverse historical influences. Transfer from your Jerusalem hotel to Ben Gurion International Airport for your departure flight, either back home or to your next destination.

Transfers: The drive from Jerusalem to Ben Gurion International Airport or Sdeh Dov Domestic Airport in Tel Aviv takes about 50 to 60 minutes. For international flights, please note that you should check in at least 3 hours prior to your flight’s departure time. Please note: NO EXTRA TRANSFER CHARGES for arrival and departure, any time or day.

If your flight departs in the morning, you will arrive back in America the same day.
If your flight departs in the evening, you will arrive back in America the following day.
Optional Bar/Bat Mitzvah Services: Rabbi’s fee for one Bar/Bat Mitzvah participant is available upon request. Contact us for more details. The fee includes: Correspondence with family by the Rabbi, a meeting with the Rabbi in Jerusalem prior to the ceremony, officiating at the service, use of prayer pamphlets and the Rabbi’s personal Torah scroll, transportation for the Rabbi, and a Bar/Bat Mitzvah certificate from the Ministry of Tourism. Reform and Conservative ceremonies will be held at the Southern Wall area. Transfer from the Western Wall Plaza to the Israel Museum costs approximately $10-$15 per taxi (for 4 passengers).

Tips during your Holy Land tour: It's important to consider your Tour Guides and Drivers work very hard to make your tour an experience of a lifetime, and most of their annual income comes from the generosity of those they are serving during the tours. It is recommended that tour guides are given at least $6.00 per touring day per person, and drivers are given at least $4.00 per touring day per person. Please consider also hotel staff during your stay, and other staff that will support you during your tour.
